Em um lote com muitas restrições patrimoniais devido a proximidade ao Complexo Praça da Liberdade (um dos maiores complexos de arte e cultura do pais) e ao lado do também tombado
Palacete Pentagna Guimarães.
Nesse sentido, fez se necessário a aprovação junto a (DIPC) Diretoria do Patrimonio Cultural, ao (COMPUR) Conselho de Políticas Urbanas onde abordamos uma arquitetura que não só respeitasse o entorno imediato mas que também fortalecesse a sua importância histórica.
Foram premissas análises de altimetria, visadas da Praça Liberdade, uso de materiais que não se sobressaíssem do contexto (como a adoção de granito jateado e vidro não reflexivo), colocação do edifício no alinhamento do lote e criação de Parklet público, jardim de palmeiras sobre laje na divisa com o Palacete e dispor de uma rooftop /terraço jardim.

In a lot with many patrimonial restrictions due to the proximity to the Praça da Liberdade Complex (one of the largest art and culture complexes in the country) and next to the also listed Pentagna Guimarães Palace. In this sense, approval was required from the (DIPC) Directorate of Cultural Heritage, the (COMPUR) Urban Policy Council where we approach an architecture that not only respects the immediate surroundings but also strengthens its historical importance. Altimetry analyzes were premised, aimed at Praça Liberdade, use of materials that did not stand out from the context (such as the adoption of sandblasted granite and non-reflective glass), placement of the building in alignment of the lot and creation of public Parklet, palm garden on flagstone on the border with the Palace and have a rooftop / garden terrace.
It was a challenge to work in a building near Praça da Liberdade, a listed heritage site, which is the largest park of eclectic architecture in Latin America. The building is located next to the old manor house Solar do Guimarães, in this sense, we made approval in Patrimônio, the study of altimetry and the immediate surroundings so that the new building dialogues with the others and does not generate negative visual and physical impacts to the region. In this way, we worked on the facade with non-reflective glass, the inclusion of a garden terrace overlooking the Praça da Liberdade and a breather for the listed house, with the creation of a large side garden, equipped with palm trees.
